UNITED NATIONS MISSION TRIP TO NEW YORK CITY MARCH 1-7TH 2008
 
I would like to thank Babette Francis from Endeavor Forum in Australia for
accrediting us to attend the Commission on the Status of Women meetings this year again. Early Monday morning we arrived to begin to invite delegates and representatives from nations around the world to join our workshops.

We held our first workshop called, Breast Cancer Prevention featuring Dr.
Angela Lanfranchi, a Breast Cancer Surgeon, researcher, author and
co-founder of the Breast Cancer Prevention Institute. She gave an excellent
presentation on the physiological link between induced abortion and breast
cancer. Dr. Joel Brind also gave a presentation on the Meta-analysis he did
showing 28 world wide studies linking Breast Cancer to abortion. This
workshop was full.
 
Our second workshop was entitled, “True Reproductive Health Care” again we
had a full to overflowing room. I was the Master of Ceremonies giving a short power point presentation on the pain of abortion to women with statistics and references to the many studies showing that induced abortion causes depression, suicides, pre-term births, breast cancer and substance abuse after abortion. Then she introduced Maria, Darlene and Melody who gave powerful testimonies on their personal experience and pain of abortion.
Hearts were moved and touched. Dr. Martha Shuping, a Psychiatrist, who treats post abortive women read reports and studies on the damage of abortion to women.
 
Dr. Elizabeth Shadigian, an OB/GYN led another workshop called, Women’s Maternal Health, where she identified health risks to women after abortion
including pre-term births, sterility and infertility. As well as violence to pregnant women. Dr. Shuping had another workshop called Mental Health After Abortion where she again emphasized the studies and research and gave examples of some of her cases where women were distraught and suffered clinical depression subsequent to their induced abortions.
 
Every workshop we held was full to over-flowing and we Praise God for that. We distributed hundreds of brochures on fetal development, Breast Cancer Link to Abortion, the pain of abortion to women and gave out fetal models too. I led a man on Times Square to the Lord, he agreed that his wife should have an abortion before they married, it has damaged their relationship. I led a cabby in a sinner’s prayer; he too had about 3 women abort his children including his current fiancé who is having trouble now conceiving. Every day we prayed for divine appointments and God brought them. One day I went for brunch while everyone was touring NYC and sat beside a black woman, and told her about our mission and the ABC link…she told me she was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer about 5 weeks ago, she told me she also had 4 abortions when she was younger and no born children…she is now 38 years old. We will be in touch. There were many more divine appointments. Thanks to everyone who prayed, and who helped support my trip there.

To GOD be the GLORY for HIS DIVINE appointments!
 
1. I always made it a point to sit with the Cab Drivers in New York City…to
talk to them about Jesus and Life issues. Our last Cabby-Richard who drove
us to the airport confessed that he had 2 or 3 women abort his children over
the years, including his current fiancé who was having trouble getting
pregnant now. I led him in a sinner’s prayer and exhorted him to repent and
get married…I told him to have his fiancé contact us for ministry and
healing thru Jesus Christ.
 
2. I sat beside Keisha in a NY Diner on 57th St. for brunch…after telling
her about our workshops and the Abortion Breast Cancer link; she informed me
that she was just diagnosed with an aggressive form of Breast Cancer. She is
only 38 years old, black and had 4 abortions. She never had any born
children. She confided that she has been fighting depression for years. We
will keep in touch, I gave her some brochures and told her that God loved
her, and she is forgiven through the blood of Jesus.
 
3. I met Julius on Broadway as he was selling tickets for Comedy show (he
was the boss) and after telling him why we were there…he confessed that he
had agreed to let his wife have an abortion before they were married- this
has damaged their relationship badly, they now have a 2 year old son, she
has trouble bonding with him, and they have no sex life- he was eager to
pray, as I led him in a sinners prayer, he couldn’t’ believe he was telling
me all this-a stranger…I exhorted him to ask her to forgive him and that she
should contact us for ministry and healing.
 
4. Walking towards our hotel one night, a Jewish lady approached me to ask
for directions, I told her to come along we were going the same way…after
telling her we were doing workshops at the UN on the pain and damage of
legal abortions to women, she confided that her daughter just had a
stillbirth at 5 and a half months…I asked her if her daughter had ever had
an abortion…she replied with, “Yes, I took her for an abortion at 16, so it
wouldn’t ruin her life…” Now she is in a deep depression after the death of
this “wanted” baby… this woman was radically pro-choice. I told her that in
Israel they are exterminated over 150 Jewish babies every day there and gave
her a couple of brochures and hoped her daughter would contact us to talk.
 
5. Our team met and prayed for several post abortive women who attended
the workshops…many more conversations as salt and light were expressed at
the United Nations…God’s TRUTH is going out and it is impacting leaders and
grassroots leaders for such a time as this.
