Award Winning Artist, Brenda Crocker Angel-Copeland, in celebration of this Easter season, unveils her recently completed 16ft sculpture, “THE LAMB OF GOD”

Tulsa, Oklahoma, Award Winning Artist, Brenda Crocker Angel-Copeland, in celebration of this Easter season, unveils her recently completed 16ft sculpture, “THE LAMB OF GOD” this Thursday, March 20, 2008, Noon ‘til 3:00 PM, memorializing the free gift of Salvation that God extended to all mankind. This event is FREE to the public and is located behind The Select Business Building, at 2604 W. Kenosha, Broken Arrow, OK. Sponsored by The Law Offices of Gregory V. Copeland, P.C. THE LAMB OF GOD is a 16 ft. monument depicting the Crucifixion of Christ. This larger-than-life, breathtakingly realistic, hand-molded sculpture memorializes Christ’s sacrifice. The gifts and talents of Artist, Brenda Crocker Angel Copeland, are awe-inspiring, as the public will witness, during this premier unveiling.

In 1992, Angel-Copeland had a dream of Jesus being crucified, she heard, “Sculpt what you have just seen.” This dream occurred for many nights. She had never sculpted anything before, and didn’t even know where to buy clay. After obtaining clay, she began sculpting without any training or instruction. As she completed her first sculpture of Jesus, she was immediately called an, “Adult Child Prodigy” and began receiving commissions.

Angel-Copeland’s sculpture, titled, “Liberty Leads Her People to Justice” is at the White House. In June of 2004 White House Staff informed her that her sculpture, “Liberty leads Her People to Justice,” is to be placed in the Smithsonian’s National Collection Museum of Fine Art, in Washington, D.C. She has received a Letter from President George W. Bush regarding that sculpture.

Angel-Copeland’s ministry is, "to fill the land with Sculptural Scriptures and drench the Nations with the Word of God in images that cannot be forgotten, reaching the generations of the future while impacting the viewers of today," through Sculpt America LLC, www.sculptamerica.org.

This scheduled one day event, is the premier unveiling of THE LAMB OF GOD,
while still in the clay form. This is a very unique opportunity to view this 16 ft. monument in this stage of development, as this sculpture is scheduled to be cast in bronze using the lost wax method of bronze casting, with the first bronze sculpture scheduled for unveiling during America’s Religious History Week, beginning May 1, 2008. “THE LAMB OF GOD” is truly a dream come true. It is the fruition of a dream I began working on in 1992", Angel-Copeland said.

The Artist will be at the unveiling for a Gallery Talk.

What Angel has created here is series of visual parables - a sermon
in sculpture, drawing, and collage. It is one of the most unabashedly
devout shows you’ll see. Angel presents a series of works that depict
Christ on the Cross. These pieces sculpture, prints and drawings - focus
exclusively on Jesus’ head and its’ crown of thorns. Angel began creating
these pieces in 1992 after awaking from a dream about Jesus’ death;

The power of her message is undeniable.”
