Freedom of Speech for All, Except Christians?

Stuart Migdon of Jesus Take the Wheel Ministries Teaches that Discipleship is Essential Despite Recent Christian Intolerance

Allenwood, N.J. ─Muslim Student Union, a radical Muslim group at University of California-Irvine , continues to heckle and torment all exhibitions, Jewish and Christian. The administration at UCI, which is a college known for its adherence to free speech rights, settles for mere slaps on the wrist as members of the Muslim organization continually impede the rights of other proclaimers. In May, MSU sponsored a speech by a Muslim imam, who spoke fervently from a campus podium which displayed the slogan “Israel, the Fourth Reich” and referred to Jews as “the new Nazis.” As the members and administration contend that they are merely exercising free speech, those threatened and thwarted by MSU’s violent protests claim that “freedom of speech” seems to apply to all except Judeo-Christians.  In our societal age of required acceptance, it seems that Christians, who are portrayed as the antagonists of free religion, are in reality the ones being repressed from proclaiming their faith.

Stuart Migdon, creator of Jesus Take the Wheel Ministries and discipleship expert, has dedicated his life to teaching Christians the absolute necessity of following and spreading the truth of Christ’s teachings. In this time where Christians are seen as hateful and judgmental, followers of Christ need to persevere in their own rights to freedom of speech and continue to spread to the truth of the Gospel, and to live as Christ exemplified.

Stuart Migdon, through his effective ministry, helps Christians to realize that being a disciple of Christ is an all-encompassing lifestyle which requires sincere devotion, despite criticism, and strict adherence to examples set by Jesus Christ. For all areas of life, Stuart Migdon’s 2-1-2 Discipleship Program teaches what it means to follow Christ actively and radically, and to accept His truth, and his attributes, as our own.

“Jesus has called us to be His disciples, to teach others to teach others to follow His commands and to live as He did. Despite the judgment toward Christians in our society that is ever-moving toward ‘tolerance’, we must continue to fulfill the mission of Jesus Christ with resolution.   In our society of abandoned beliefs, it is vital that we immerse ourselves in God’s Word, and accept His truth as irrefutable as we continue to proclaim the truth of the Gospel,” says Stuart Migdon, founder and author of Jesus Take the Wheel, creator of the 2-1-2 Discipleship program, and host of the daily “Key Moments” airing on over 200 radio stations nationwide.

Stuart Migdon has narrowed discipleship down to three Ds: Discipline, Direction, and Dependence. He delivers Christ’s message and disciples God’s people in an exciting and educated way which remains true at all times to the passionate reality of God’s plan for His people. The 2-1-2 Movement teaches followers to disciple 2 people, 1 time per week for 2 months, in an effort which could breed an army of thousands of disciples, starting with just one person who chose to commit his life to Christ.

Mr. Migdon ties together his book, Jesus Take the Wheel, his 2-1-2 Discipleship program and short daily radio features, Key Moments, into an effective ministry that teaches humility, giving up control to God and connecting to Christ as one of His true disciples.

Stuart Migdon, raised in Reformed Judaism, gave his life to Christ and has been sharing his faith by discipling Jews and Gentiles ever since. Stuart was a successful businessman but realized that all the success in the world could not fill the emptiness that was growing within him. In 1991, he came to know Jesus as his Savior and felt a strong desire to live a life that would be pleasing to God.   Migdon became an avid student of the Bible and wrote the book, Jesus Take the Wheel, 7 Keys to a Transformed Life.  He then turned the work into a ministry called 2-1-2 Discipleship,” which builds on the foundation to disciple 2 people, 1 time per week, for 2 months. Migdon also developed the 2-1-2” study guide and facilitator’s guide, and a video series is in the works. He serves as an elder and biblical counselor at Calvary Chapel Old Bridge in New Jersey.
