Thomas Nelson, Inc. To Make Donation Amidst Switch to "Green" Bible Bindings 

(Nashville, Tenn.) Thomas Nelson, Inc.’s Bible group has announced that they will be making a donation to the Arbor Day Foundation in the coming months. For copies of The Charles F. Stanley Life Principles Daily Bible sold starting on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) through Arbor Day (April 25th), the company will make a donation to provide for the planting of a tree. This announcement comes on the heels of the news that the Bible group is in the beginning stages of discontinuing the use of synthetic covers on their Bible product offerings.

The Charles F. Stanley Life Principles Daily Bible (ISBN: 9780718020101 / Paperback/$19.99) is the first Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified Bible available in the marketplace. Its production flowed through the FSC chain-of-custody from the FSC-certified forest, to a paper manufacturer, merchant, and finally printer who have FSC chain-of-custody certification. The Charles F. Stanley Life Principles Daily Bible itself is arranged in 365 portions, each including popular devotional insights derived from The Charles F. Stanley Life Principles Bible. The full text of this New King James Version (NKJV) Bible is broken into daily readings enabling it to be easily read in a year.
